摘要
车牌字符分割是车牌自动识别系统中的一个重要步骤。这一模块的正确性受到二值化、倾斜校正、噪声等因素的影响。本文对定位后的车牌图像的预处理和字符分割技术进行了比较研究,提出将多种车牌字符分割方法结合,可以提高效率和准确性。多车牌的分割将成为车牌识别中的热点问题。
Character segmentation of license plates is one of the most important steps in Automatic Vehicle License Identification System. The accuracy of this module is influenced by binarization, tilt correction, noise, etc. We compared the preprocessing and character segmentation technology of the license plate image after positioning, and proposed the integration of many approaches of character segmentation, which can improve the efficiency and accuracy. The multi-car license plate segmentation would become a research focus in automatic vehicle license identification.
