摘要本文论及有关华裔美国文学研究的六个方面：一、Chinese American Literature的译名与界定，二、华裔美国文学是美国文学还是中国文学的分支？三、华裔美国文学是否认同或在宣传中国文化？四、中国读者可以从华裔美国文学中受益吗？五、中国人研究华裔美国文学应该有自己独到之处，六、华裔美国文学的翻译问题。作者从国内华裔美国文学研究的角度出发对这六个方面提出个人见解。
