摘要
英语演讲课在西方的教育体系中主要着眼于培养公民的责任和民主意识。该文在分析中国英语演讲教学的若干篇论文的基础上,结合本校和其它院校的英语演讲课的实践教学,对英语演讲课的教学目的、教学对象、教学内容、教学过程等进行了探讨,试图为中国英语演讲教学的现状提供有意义的描述。
English speech focus on the citizen＇s responsibility and democracy in western educational system. By analyzing certain papers in research of English Speech Teaching in China, combined with the practice of it at colleges and universities, this essay explains and analyzes the teaching sectors such as teaching purpose, object, content, methods, etc. This essay is trying to give a meaningful description on English Speech Teaching in China.
