A brief account is given of the urgency for the readjustment of the product mix from ammonium bicarbonate producers. The plan for its readjustment is depicted, and a presentation is given of the technology for retrofitting the principal part of the system and the productive technology for recovery of gases and for methanol and ammonia derivatives.
