摘要
探讨全国大学英语四级考试中完形填空试题的反拨作用。通过采样分析6年的完形填空测试题目的覆盖内容、测试重心、测试效能,指出近年该测试工具更倾向于考查学生的词汇的语境意义、语篇分析能力、综合分析能力。考查重心的转移使大学英语教学的重心也做出了相应的转移,使教学更接近高校学生综合运用语言能力、提高综合素质的教学目标。
The washback of Cloze in CET -4 is discussed. Through an analysis of the items of Cloze in CET -4 from 2001 - 2007 ,the testing content,testing focus and testing efficiency of Cloze is made known. It is discovered that Cloze tends to check testecs' abilities, llke the ability of guessing the meaning of the words through the context, the ability of analyzing the discourse and the overall analyzing ability. The focus of the test of Cloze requires college English teachers should try to achieve the teaching goal of improving college students' overall abilities.
