A sufficient condition to have an H∞ noise attenuation for this 2-D system is given in terms of a certain linear matrix inequality (LMI). The optimal H∞ controller is obtained by solving a convex optimization problem. Finally, a simulation example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed result.
