摘要 基于小波变换的图像编码是当今十分流行的编码方法。文章结合小波变换的特点,介绍了小波图像压缩的基本原理及基于小波的图像多分辨率分析方法,阐述了小波图像压缩方法及其进展。 Wavelet image coding is a new image coding method developed in recent decades and has been studied extensively. The schemes of wavelet image coding were studied to link with the characteristic of wavelet transformation. This paper introduces the basic principles of image compression and the wavelet -based multiresolution feature of image, and points out the new methods and development of wavelet image coding.
