摘要
文章采用矩阵光学方法,结合高斯光束耦合理论,推导出了反射式微电子机械系统(MEMS)可变光衰减器(VOA)波长—损耗相关特性公式;对透镜和插针之间空气隙的长度d1、透镜的长度d2、C透镜折射率和曲率半径等影响波长相关损耗(WDL)的因素进行了详细分析,并分别进行了数值仿真,得出了影响波长—损耗相关特性的几个关键因素,这些结果对研制反射式VOA有重要指导意义。
The Wavelength Dependent Loss (WDL) formula for the reflection-type Variable Optical Attenuator (VOA) based on Micro Electro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS) is deduced by using matrix optics in connection with Gauss beam coupling. Such factors that are related to WDL as the air gap length d1 between the dual fiber pigtail and C-Lens, the lens length d2 and the refractive index and the curvature radius of C-Lens are analyzed in detail and numerical simulations performed respectively. The resulted key factors have major significance to the development of the MEMS-based reflection-type VOA.
