A new electronically-controlled cylinder pulse lubricating system (PKS) has been introduced to RTA and RT-flex engines. Compared with the original accumulator system, PLS can reduce cylinder lubricating oil consumption by 37% without compromising on piston-running reliabihty. All these are achieved through an improved distribution of cylinder lubricating oil, and the introduction of fully flexible precise timing of oil spray.
