摘要
传统的陶瓷-金属复合装甲为简单的双层结构,其中陶瓷作为迎弹面板,金属作为能量吸收背板,这种结构的明显不足是其抗多发弹能力差。用金属将陶瓷包裹起来是提高装甲抗多发弹能力的一个有效方法,封装金属为陶瓷提供了最大程度的结构限制,因而有助于提高复合装甲抗多发弹的能力。主要介绍目前制备金属封装陶瓷复合装甲的方法,探讨其中的关键技术。
Traditional ceramic-metal composite armor is simple double-layer system composed of ceramic and metal,in which ceramic and metal act as correspondingly impact face layer and energy-absorbing backup layer. One significant drawback of the double-layer armoring systems is that they lack repeat hit capability. One effective method to solve the foregoing problem is to encapsulate the ceramic with metal. This metal would provide the greatest degree of structural confinement to the ceramic core material, thereby improving the ability of composite armor to withstand multiple impacts. In this paper, the current methods to fabricate a composite armor consisting of ceramic material encapsulated by metal were introduced, and the key technologies were discussed.
