作为城市资本的文化生产——对丽江消费文化的批判性思考

摘要 当代高速城市化的大背景下,文化的本质是什么,它的原点在哪里?本文通过对丽江古城的思考,剖析了在当今社会消费主义盛行的大背景下,文化所指代的以意识形态的产品生产与经营为主体的经济行为。在明晰文化的本质、生产和消费的基础上,通过对"象征经济"这一概念的引入,更进一步思考了以丽江为代表的旅游城市将文化作为城市资本进行经营的新的城市发展策略。 Under the backdrop of urbanization, what is the essence and the source of culture worth carefully examined. In the article we take the ancient Liiiang city as a example, analyze what does culture mean when we refer to the economic activities which emphasize the production and management that involved in ideology, with the increasing attention that put on consumption. After scrutinizinq the essence of culture, and the meaning of cultural production and cultural consumption, as well as the introduction of the con- cept "symbolic economy", we can reach to a further con- sideration of the civil development strategy of tourism city such as Liiiang. Compared to the traditional management strategy of the city, we would rather like to take economy of culture products as the chief economic strategy.
