摘要
网络的核心是协议,而网络硬件技术的发展必然推动网络协议的发展。交换机的出现使传统的以太网争用信道冲突消失,CSMA/CD协议则失去了存在基础,由此而引起的对帧长的限制也应改变。随着全球局域网越来越同质,MAC地址可以取消,代之以IP地址主机号字段,ARP协议随即被淘汰。
Protocol is the core of netware and the development of hardware technology consequentially promotes the grow of netware protocol. The emergence of switch makes that there is no conflict in emulatively using channel to the traditional Ethernet, so CSMA/CD protocol loses its existence elements. It brings the change of limit of frame length. The global Local Area Netware is more and more homogeneous, MAC address can be cancelled and replaced by IP address Host-id field.
