摘要
主动式队列管理(Active Queue Management,AQM)技术是IETF(The Internet Engineering Task Force)为了解决Internet拥塞控制问题而提出的一种路由器缓存管理技术。本文详细分析了RED算法、BLUE算法以及基于RED改进策略的SRED算法三种算法的优缺点,并在NS2中对它们的性能进行了仿真和比较。仿真结果表明RED和SRED性能都要优于BLUE算法。
To address the problem of TCP end to end congestion control , IETF( The Internet Engineering Task Force ) advocates deploying active queue management (AQM) mechanisms in the TCP/IP networks. The paper dicusses the RED , BLUE and improved RED algorithms in detail. Then their virtues and shortcomings are analyzed. At last, three AQM algorithms, RED (Random Early Detection) , BLUE and SRED (Stabilized RED) , are compared based on simulations. The simulation results indicate that the performance of RED and SRED are better than that of BLUE.
