Objective To explore effects of levels oligoasthenoteratozoospermia on male reproduction. Methords of serum plumbum and cadmium in those wih The levels of serum plumbum and cadmium, as well as sperm analysis in 79 cases with oligoasthenoteratozoospermia and 34 normal men were measured respectively, and then all data were statistically analyzed. Results Among 79 cases of oligoasthenoteratozoospermia, 54 cases had elevated level of serum plumbum or cadmium(67.1% ), however normal group accounted for 14.7%(P〈0.05). Conclusion The level of serum plumbum and cadmium might affect the quality of semen significantly.
