水牛繁殖新技术研究进展 被引量:1

摘要 水牛作为一种重要的家畜,过去主要用于使役,随着社会的发展,水牛作为畜力的价值越来越低。但是,水牛在恶劣生活环境下的高产肉率、高瘦肉率,高产奶量下的高乳脂肪率,在高热环境下的良好生活力等特点引起了越来越多的关注。发挥水牛的这些优点,发展水牛产业对发展经济,特别是提高农村人口的生活水平具有重要作用。然而,水牛的繁殖方面却存在着大量的问题,与黄牛相比繁殖率更低,这主要是由于水牛性成熟晚、季节性发情和发情表现不明显、受精率低等。所以,研究水牛的繁殖技术、快速提高水牛群体的数量和质量成为目前国内外畜牧业的一个热点。
