It introduces the background of Cheonggyecheon in Seoul, Korea, surveys its restoration project, makes a brief introduction of the problems and strategies in projects and the design keys, andpoints out that this project is one of the strategies of Seoul urban revitalization and through this project, Korean government enhances the commercial value of surrounding area, and-balances the southern and northern development of Seoul, which in turn, enhances the urban eompetitives.
