BEPCⅡ亮度监测器第一阶段运行的初步结果

摘要 亮度探测器是对撞机束流调试、稳定运行和提高性能的重要工具.一台快亮度监测器首次在BEPCⅡ(北京正负电子对撞机重大改造工程)上实现了逐束团对撞的亮度监测,并且已经成功地用于BEPCⅡ的调束.亮度监测器初步运行结果表明,亮度监测器可以快速实时地给出相对亮度的信息,成功地对每一对束团的状态(时间、空间)进行监视,为高亮度的BEPCⅡ的调试和最佳状态的选择提供了一个有效、可靠的监测手段. The luminosity monitor is a very important tool for beam tuning, stable operation and performance improvement of the collider. A fast luminosity monitor has been installed and is currently running in BEPC Ⅱ (Beijing Electron Positron Collider upgrade project). The system has been operated in BEPCⅡ to measure luminosity bunch by bunch for the first time and used successfully in beam tuning of BEPC Ⅱ. The preliminary results of the luminosity monitor running in BEPC Ⅱ indicate that the hardware and software of the luminosity monitor system are working well. These results can be used to provide an effective and reliable method for luminosity monitoring and beam optimization of BEPC Ⅱ.
