摘要
改革开放三十年来,我国高校英语专业已建立起一套比较完整的、适合中国国情的教学体系。新世纪开始推出的英语专业评估又促使高校英语院系进一步规范了英语专业的教学,教学质量相应得到了进一步提高。本文同时指出了师资队伍建设、课程设置和学生语言基本功等方面存在的问题,并就英语学科发展、专业评估、教师培训等提出了建议。
Over the last 30 years,a comprehensive system of English teaching to Enlgish majors at tertiary level has been successfully developed in China. The teaching assessment of English under-graduate programs at the tertiary level has helped to further regulate teaching pronotice and raise teaching standards.
