摘要
采用问卷调查、师生座谈会、学生访谈、教师反思四种方式对大学英语教学有效性进行调查,结果显示:学生尚未树立正确的英语语言学习观;学生英语学习的动机没有得到充分的激发;课堂教学模式单一,互动不足,气氛沉闷,教学效果不佳;学生对教师提出更高的要求;学生自主学习的主动性和能力差。若能在利用有限的多媒体设备的同时,把"语言游戏说"的精神引入课堂,那将大大提高大学英语教学的效果。
A survey is conducted to investigate the effectiveness of college English teaching in four ways:questionnaires, symposia, interviews and teachers' reflection. The results show that most students maintain an improper viewpoint of language learning; that they are not well motivated to learn English; that the monotonous teaching approach results in depressive classroom atmosphere; that the students have more demands on teachers; and that the students' initiative and ability for autonomous study is inadequate. It is concluded that by employing" the Language game" approach along with multimedia equipment, the effectiveness of college English teaching will be greatly improved.
