摘要
对西部10省份城乡居民恩格尔系数、消费结构及食品支出结构的比较分析表明,恩格尔系数在衡量居民消费水平时存在横向比较和纵向比较的差异性,也受到统计资料的可获得性以及物价指数等因素的制约。据此,我们应该在提高恩格尔系数定量研究和计量模型设定时的准确性方面进行甄别并对其加以修正,这有利于设计出衡量具有特殊国情和不同经济发展阶段居民消费水平比较完整的指标,以更好地对不同地区居民消费水平进行较为精确的比较分析。
Through comparatively analyzing on the Engle Coefficients, the consumption structure and the structure of foodstuff expense of urban and rural residents, we can see that there are typical issues in measuring consuming levels by applying Engle coefficients, such as in the accuracy of transverse and longitude analysis, acquisition of statistics, price index and policy influence, we should modify the Engle coefficients in order to set a type of complete marks to measure currently resident＇s consuming levels in particular country＇s basic condition or state and different stages of economic development, this is favorable to provide much more precise studying on the resident＇s consuming levels in different areas.
