摘要
学生接受高等工程教育之前所拥有的工程实践经验显著地影响其专业兴趣、理解能力和实际工程能力的发展。目前大学新生普遍缺乏工程实践经验,有必要在一年级开设基于项目的早期工程体验课程,为学生构建工程科学、专业知识和工程能力的框架。深圳大学机电与控制工程学院为新生开设的早期工程体验课程以灭火机器人比赛为工程任务,以机器人教学套件为载体,在教学实践中取得初步成效。学生问卷调查表明,经过该课程的学习,学生对专业的兴趣和认同程度明显增加。
Engineering experience prior to university education has a great effect on student's interest, perception and ability development in engineering domain. Because nowadays university freshmen are commonly short of engineering experience, it is necessary for the freshmen to run a project- based early engineering experience program who needs to build up a framework for science, domain knowledge and engineering ability. An early engineering experience program has been run in the College of Mechatronics and Control Engineering, Shenzhen University. It takes the Robot Fire Fighting Contest as engineering project and utilizes robot teaching kits. Questionnaire results suggest that students are more interested in and satisfied with their course of study.
