摘要
研究了低温对黄瓜幼苗膜脂过氧化的影响。结果表明:低温下细胞的膜脂过氧化程度明显加剧,丙二醛(MDA)含量显著增加;过氧化物酶(POD)活性上升,过氧化氢酶(CAT)活性明显下降;MDA含量与黄瓜幼苗耐低温能力呈极显著负相关,POD和CAT活性与黄瓜幼苗耐寒性分别呈正相关和显著正相关。
Effect of low temperature stress on cell membranelipid peroxidation was studied in cucumber (Cucumis satirus L. ) cultivars with different coldtolerance. A marked increase of malondialdehyde (MDA) contnet, a main product of membrancelipid peroxidation, was obseved in cucumber seedlings subjected to low temperature (12.5/5.5℃, d/n) . The increment of MDA in different cultivars inversely correlated with the chillinginjury degrees of seedlings. The low temperature teatment also increased proxidase (POD) activity, and some new protein bands for POD isozyme on electrophoretogram were noted. Seedling catalase (CAT) activity, however, exhibited a decrease in response to the cold stress. The changes in POD and CAT activities show a positive correlation with the cultivar cold tolerance. Based on these results, we suggest that MDA content and activities of POD and CAT could be used as criteria for evaluating germplasm for cold tolerance.
