摘要
分析了40钢汽车轮毂轴管由分段感应淬火改成一次整体淬火后存在硬度软区(30~40 HRC)的原因。主要原因是40钢轮毂轴管工艺改变后的冷却能力不足。通过改进淬火设备的冷却能力,一次整体淬火后硬度达到47~55 HRC。经半年毂轴管生产说明质量稳定,取得良好的效果。
The softening reason of surface layer ( 30 - 40 HRC) on 40 carbon steel of automobile shaft tube for induction heat treatment was analyzed. When the induction hardening process was changed from scan hardening in steps to simultaneous hardening, the main softening reason of the steel is inferior cooling capacity. Through improving the cooling capacity of the quenching equipments, surface hardness of the tube can reach 47 - 55 HRC, it is a suitable and stable process for automobile shaft tube after six months' production.
