Free-radical Copolymerization of α-Pinene and Vinyl Acetate

摘要 为探索α-蒎烯与醋酸乙烯酯自由基共聚合的可能性,用这两种单体以偶氮二异丁腈为引发剂进行本体共聚合,产生了浅黄色至黄色透明聚合物。其软化点在42-88℃、数均相对分子质量在4200-7500范围内,二者均随单体配比中α-蒎烯量的增加而降低。聚合物中,α-蒎烯单元质量百分含量约为5%-15%,随单体配比中α-蒎烯数量的增加而增加。聚合物收率约为20%-70%,随单体配比中α-蒎烯量的增加而降低。 To investigate the possibility of this reaction, both the monomers were copolymerized with using asobisisobutyronitrile as the initiator, and a transparent polymer was produced which color was light yellow to yellow. Its softening points are in the range of 42-88℃ and number average molecular weights are 4200-7500, both decrease with the increase of the amount of α- pinene in the monomer ratio. In this polymer, the mass fraction of α-pinene unit is about in the range of 5% - 17%, and increases with the increasing amount of α-pinene in monomers. The yield of polymerization product is about 20%-70%, it decreases with the amount of α-pinene in monomers increasing.
