微波辐照处理PVC/稻壳粉复合材料的吸水性能 被引量:8

摘要 研究了甲基丙烯酸甲酯(MMA)在微波作用下改性稻壳粉,以及钛酸酯偶联剂处理稻壳粉对聚氯乙烯/稻壳粉复合材料吸水性能的影响,用傅里叶变换红外光谱仪和扫描电子显微镜表征其结构。结果表明:MMA在微波作用下能与稻壳粉表面羟基发生作用生成一种以稻壳粉为核、聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯为壳的改性体,能明显降低稻壳粉吸水率及复合材料吸水后的膨胀率MMA改性稻壳粉的复合材料吸水后冲击强度、拉伸强度比钛酸酯偶联剂处理分别高17.6%与32.2%。 This paper studied the effects of rice hull powder modified with methyl methaclylate (MMA) under microwave irradiation and rice hull powder treated with titanate coupling agent (TM-38S) on water absorption of the composites made from polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and the rice hull powder. The structure and morphology of the composite were analyzed by means of Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FFIR) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The results indicate that MMA can react with --OH radical on the surface of the rice hull powder under the irradiation of microwave to form a core-shell structure complex with rice hull powder as core and polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) as shell. The water absorption rate of the rice hull powder and the linear expansion rate after absorbing water of the composites are decreased obviously. The impact strength and tensile strength after absorbing water of the composites containing the MMA modified rice hull powder are 17.6% and 32.2% higher than those of its counterpart containing the TM-38S treated rice hull powder, respectively.
