摘要
作为本族语与外语交互作用的中介,翻译与二语习得有着本质的联系。学习第二语言,不仅要学习这门语言,还要学习其文化。从一定意义上说,翻译的过程就是进行两种语言和文化对比的过程。通过对比,才能更好地掌握两种语言和文化间的差异,从而达到灵活有效地使用外语的目的。翻译促进二语习得,利用翻译促进二语习得的方法可归纳为三种。
Translation is a process in which mother tongue interacts with the second language. Translation and second language acquisition are essentially interrelated to each other. To learn a second language means learning both the language and its culture. In a sense, translation is conducted in the process of making contrast between languages and cultures. By way of comparison, the learner can grasp the language and cultural differences so as to learn to use the language in a better way. There are three ways to promote second language acquisition by means of translation.
