摘要
美月是以优良自交系MH-35—1为母本，MH-9-1为父本配制而成的小型西瓜一代杂交种。早熟，生长势强，全生育期冬季75～80d，秋季63—65d，果实椭圆形，果形指数1．29，平均单果质量1．5～2．0kg，深绿果皮覆1～15条墨绿细齿条带；皮厚0．5cm，果肉鲜红色，中心糖含量12．5％～13％，边糖含量9％～10％，肉质细脆，多汁，品质佳，抗性好，产量高。
Abstract： Meiyue was a new watermelon F1 hybrid developed by crossing MH-35-1 as female parent with MH-9-1 as male patent. It is vigorous and early mature with good disease resistance. It takes 98 d from sowing to harvest in winter season and 75 d from sowing to harvest in autumn season. Its fruit shape is oval and its bright-green rind with 14-15 dark-green strips, the fruit index （ length/width ） is 1.29. The average fruit weight is 1,5-2.0 kg, its rind is 0.5 cm. The red fresh is crisp and juicy with excellent flavor. Its soluble solid content is 13.0% in center and 9.0% in edge. Its average yield is above 37 500 kg/hm^2.
