おt is shown that whenever an asymmetrical Abel inversion is applied to asymmetrical data from multichannel measurements in a tokamak to obtain a plasma parameter profile, a preliminary treatment of data asymmetry initiated by any known asymmetrical profile (for example, asymmetry caused by plasma displacement) is necessary for improving the accuracy of the profile, because the inversion results depend on the diagnostic line arrengement.
