摘要
利用1300nm直接调制DFB半导体激光器研制成功了速率为10Gb/s的小型非致冷光发射器。介绍了发射器的设计原理、实施方案和测试结果。根据光发射器中温度传感器和监测用光电二极管的输出信号调节激光器的偏置电流和调制电流,可以使发射器在0~75℃温度范围内各项工作参数均满足ITU相关标准规定。相对于SONET192眼图模版,发射器的输出光信号眼图冗余在7%以上。
A uncooled 1 300 nm DFB laser based directly modulated transmitter for 10 Gb/s SONET OC-192 is developed. The design principles, implementation and test results of the transmitter are introduced. According to the output signal of temperature sensor inside the transmitter, by properly adjusting the bias and modulation currents, the transmitter's parameters can satisfy all of the specifications of ITU standard when the temperature ranges from 0 ℃ to 75 ℃. The eye margins are better than 7% for SONET 192 eye mask pattern in previous specified temperature range.
