摘要
中间包内流体流动状态对铸坯质量的优劣起着至关重要的作用。采用合理的控流装置可以优化钢液在中间包内的流动特征,本文通过实验室物理模拟实验与数值计算相结合的方法,分析比较了两种导流隔墙对四流连铸中间包内流体流动特征的影响。物理模拟和数学计算结果能够较好地吻合,结果表明:与直板挡墙中间包相比,V型导流隔墙的使用将中间包死区体积分率降低了45%,各出水口之间响应时间和峰值时间之间的标准差有所减小,均匀了各水口之间的流动状态。
Flow characteristic of fluid in tundish plays an important role on quality of casting production. Optimal flow field can be obtained by using suitable control devices. In this paper, the effect of two types of baffle on flow characteristic in four-strand tundish was analyzed by physical modeling and numerical simulation. The results of physical modeling and numerical simulation matched well. It came to the conclusion that compared with straight baffle, dead volume fraction in tundish decreased by 45% after using V type baffle and standard deviation of minimum time or peak time has decreased, which indicated the flow characteristic of various outlets has been balanced.
