摘要
随着温州现代宾馆、酒店业的迅速发展,迫切需要一批既精通业务又谙熟外语的应用性人才,但由于高职院校宾馆英语教学模式的滞后,造成了人才培养与人才需求的脱节。宾馆英语教学应紧紧围绕"以能力为本位"的要求,从提高专业技能、实现专业拓展、完善综合素质三个方面培养学生,以满足温州当地社会对宾馆英语专业应用性人才的需求。
The rapid development of Wenzhou modern hotels and restaurants requires a group of applied personnel skilled both in English and business. However, the backwardness of hotel English teaching mode in vocational colleges leads to the disjoint of personnel training and personnel demand. The hotel English teaching should focus on ＂competency-based＂ standard, cultivate students from the perspectives of improving professional skills, promoting professional development and perfecting the overall quality to meet Wenzhou＇s requirement for applied personnel of hotel English.
