摘要
目的:研究钛酸钾晶须的添加量对晶须增强PMMA挠曲强度的影响并探讨其影响机理。方法:将3.0%的硅烷偶联剂处理的钛酸钾晶须,按照5%、10%、15%、20%的添加量,合成4组晶须/PMMA复合材料,未添加晶须的纯PMMA为对照组,进行三点弯曲测试。每组随机选出一个试件进行断面扫描电镜观察。结果:钛酸钾晶须添加量为15%时,晶须/PMMA复合材料的挠曲强度最高,达到(72.87±6.13)MPa。扫描电镜显示此添加量时晶须在树脂基中的分散比较均匀。钛酸钾晶须组的挠曲强度与对照组相比提高了14%。结论:钛酸钾晶须的含量对晶须/PMMA复合材料的挠曲强度有影响,钛酸钾晶须的添加量为15%时,晶须/PMMA复合材料的挠曲强度最高。
Objective: To evaluate the effect of whisker fraction on flexural strength of whisker-PMMA composite reinforced with potassium titanate whiskers and investigate the relative mechanism. Method:Potassium titanate whiskers treated with 3.0% silane coupling agent were added into resin matrix to' synthesize four group composite according to the following mass fraction: 5%. 10%, 15%.20%. Control groups without any whiskers were prepared. All groups were tested for flexural strength with three-point bending test. A specimen from each group was randomly chosen to examine with SEM. Result: The flexural strength of composite is highest when potassium titanate whiskers are concentrated with 15%.The value is (72.87±6.13) MPa. SEM examination revealed that the whiskers were well-dispersed in resin matrix with the concentra- tion. Potassium titanate whiskers improved the flexural strength of the control group over 14%. Conclusion: Potassium ti- tanate whisker fraction has effect on the flexural strength of PMMA reinforced with whiskers. The flexural strength of composite is highest when potassium titanate whiskers is concentrated with 15%.
