摘要
在现代汽车设计中,为了轻量化和降低成本,广泛采用工程塑料。文章介绍了汽车制造中工程塑料的种类及应用领域,阐述了塑料在汽车上的应用研究与发展趋势,指出汽车塑料化有利于节省能量和能源,塑料在未来汽车上的应用将向汽车外部结构件发展。但由于塑料比金属材料的强度差,随之要增加零件壁厚,因此,有待开发出既便宜又强度高的塑料。
In the design of modern automobile, in order to reduce weight and cut cost, engineered plastic is widely used. This paper introduces the type and application fields of engineered plastic in the process of automobile manufacturing and indicates the appliance study and developing trend of automotive engineered plastic, pointing out that engineered plastic is good for energy and resource saving. Besides, we should bring plastics into full play so as to lead the development of automobile exteriors. However, because intensity of plastic is weaker than that of metal, we should increase wall panel' s thickness of automobile components and parts. We are looking forward to the plastic with cost effectiveness and high intensity.
