摘要
硅化蚀变岩是嘉鱼─赤壁一带常见岩石之一,是寻找卡林型金矿的重要标志。本文通过野外观察、偏光显微镜鉴定等常规手段,初步阐明了该岩石的基本特征,命名为交代石英岩和似碧玉岩。配合阴极发光显微镜鉴定和微量元素测定,恢复其原岩为碳酸盐岩或粉砂岩─砂岩及其有关断裂构造岩。本文还提出了茅口组硅质岩是表生淋滤─充填产物的看法。
The silification altered rock, one of the most common rock in Jiayu - Chibi area of Hubei, is an important indicator for Carlin - type gold deposit. Using routine means like field oberservations and polarizing microscope determination, the author described the major characteristics of the rock and name it as metasomatic quartzite and jasperoid rock. Combined with data from determination under cathodoluminescence microscope and microelement detection, the author suggested the protolith be carbonate rock or siltstone - sandstone and its related faulted tectonite, Meanwhile the siliceous rock of Maokou Formation of Permian is considered to result from supergene leaching - infilling.
