摘要
骨髓移植(BMT)可以使白血病获得根治,全身照射(TBI)已成为目前BMT预处理不可缺少的一步。本院自1984年12月至1987年12月进行BMT前的TBI治疗白血病共8例。现报告如下:
From Dec. 1984 to Dec. 1987,8 patients with leukemia were treated by total body irradiation (TBI) followed by bone marrow transplantation (BMT) Of these eight patients, seven received allogeneic BMT and one syngeneic BMT. Donor-recipient incompatibility in ABO blood type was present in three patients. Telecobalt TBI was given to all patients to a total dose of 660-900 cGy, inversely proportional to the dose rate (4.54 to 1.65 cGy/min). The difference between the highest and lowest dose points in the body was 8.7%. Radition side-effect was mild. No interstitial pneumonia occurred. . Six patients gave long term complete remission (17 to 43 months) but two died of infection in the 5th and 14th month after BMT.The authors believe that lower total dose by lower dose rate may be better than higher total dose by higher dose rate in TBI.
