摘要
简述采用UART方式实现ARM与FPGA之间数据通信的特点。分析了异步串行通信的帧格式,将UART控制器的功能集成到FPGA内部。遵循模块化设计原则,分别设计了时钟分频器、发送逻辑、接收逻辑,并在Modelsim环境下进行了仿真。编写了串口通信程序,实现了ARM与FPGA之间收发数据。
The characteristics of communication mode between ARM and FPGA via UART are introduced in this paper. The frame format of asynchronous serial communication is analyzed, and the function of UART controller is integrated into FPGA. Following the design principle of modularization, the clock frequency divider, transmitter and receiver are designed and simulated under Modelsim environment. The UART communication program is compiled in order to realize the communication between ARM and FPGA.
