摘要
徐州位于江苏省西北部,地处苏、鲁、豫、皖四省交界处,为北国锁钥,南国门户,向来为兵家必争之地。几千年来,频发的战争严重破坏了徐州地区的生态环境和社会经济,阻碍了古城徐州的发展。本文从城市物态主体、经济腹地、人口交通、城市工商业四个方面来考察徐州历史上的战争对该地区的影响,旨在分析古城徐州阶段性兴起与衰落的历史进程中战争的影响。
Situated in the northwest of Jiangsu province,connecting the four provinces of Jiangsu, Shandong, Henan and Anhui, Xuzhou has long been a place of military significance. The frequent war disasters have repeatedly damaged the environment, impeded the development of its society and economy. A study delving into the intermittent rise and fall of ancient Xuzhou city under the impacts of wars will throw light on the City＇s vicissitudes in terms of its material existence, economic growth as well as its population, communication, industry and commerce.
