摘要
本文研究了东北鼢鼠的数量和鼢鼠洞穴的关系.发现鼢鼠挖洞在地表留下的土丘数量、土丘群数量和人为挖开鼢鼠洞后又被鼢鼠重新土封埋的洞穴数量（即有效洞穴数量）、均与鼢鼠的数量有明显的相关关系，故在实践中可用这些间接指标来估计实体数量。三种间接估计方法可应用于不同的月份。
