The Recent Development of Education and Poverty Change in the West

摘要 20世纪90年代以来,学者们关于贫困变动的研究取得了重大进展。本文从数量众多的文献中选取了有代表性的文献,试图概括国外对于教育与贫困缩减问题研究的理论进展和成果。本文首先梳理了影响贫困变动的主要因素,接着介绍了教育、经济增长与贫困变动研究的新进展,然后考察了教育、收入分配对贫困变动的影响,最后讨论了教育公平与贫困变动之间的关系。 It has been made some important development on study of poverty change since 1990s, which mainly includes in the following four aspects： The Determinants of poverty change, the relationship of education, economic growth and poverty change, the mechanism of education and income distribution on poverty change, the influence of education fair in poverty reduction.
