摘要
本文通过对西北地区独特的自然条件和社会环境及其孕育的传统建筑、城市布局特色的回顾总结，对合理发展现代西北小城镇的特色作了探讨。
Based on the studies of special geographic natural conditions in the north-west part of China, and its social environment, traditional buildings and the layout of small towns, thls paper discusses how to develop the characteristics of modern small towns in north-west regions reasonably.
