摘要 为降低H.264编码器复杂度,提出一种新的快速帧间模式选择算法。结合skip模式的特性,对其进行优先判断,在此基础上缩小宏块级模式范围。根据亚宏块模式与量化参数的关系,缩小亚宏块级模式范围。实验结果表明,该算法在图像质量和压缩效率基本不变的情况下,能减少31.9%~75.3%的编码时间。 To reduce the complexity of H.264 encoder, this paper proposes a novel algorithm for fast inter-frame mode decision. The encoding mode of the current macro-block is checked whether it is a skip mode in terms of its characteristics. The number of encoding modes can be reduced, and the encoding modes can be further cut down according to the relationship of the mode decision and the quantization parameter, Simulation results show that this algorithm can reduce the encoding time from 31.7% to 75.3% with almost the same image quality and compression efficiency.
