摘要
介绍了利用面向对象技术开发专题地图设计模型的思想和初步的实现方法，旨在通过对专题制图过程的抽象和自动化，减少专题图制图过程中的重复性工作。
In the paper, the object-oriented technique is introduced into the design of thematic map as well as a method to realize it. The aim is to reduce the procedures of thematicmapping by abstracting the process of mapping.
