摘要
胡居仁与陈献章同为吴与弼受业门徒,然治学理路却大相径庭。胡氏站在维护儒学正统的立场,从工夫修养论方面批评陈氏的心学理路,具体有三:"屏绝思虑以求静";"不读书";"放开太早,求乐太早"。这为深入研究明初理学流衍提供了极佳的视点。
Though both Hu Juren and Chen Xianzhang were diseciples of Wu Yubi, they took quite different paths in the study of Confucianism. Hu took the orthodox Confucian stand and criticized Chen's study of the mind. His criticism of Chen's study involved three aspects: self--cultivation in quiet without any perception; thinking without reading; and abandoning study to pursue the experience of pleasure too early. His criticism provides the best view point to examine the course of the conceptual evolvement of li--hsueh (study of principles).
