摘要
重形式词汇教学和纯形式词汇教学是二语词汇教学的两种常用方法。选择何种形式的词汇教学,以便更加有利于二语词汇学习,是一项值得关注的论题。本研究通过教学实验,考察重形式词汇教学和纯形式词汇教学对两组共60名中等水平的英语学习者学习英语新词的影响。结果表明,纯形式词汇教学在新词的学习效果上优于重形式词汇教学。
Focus on form and focus on forms are two ways of vocabulary instruction. It is worthwhile to find out the superior way of vocabulary learning for Chinese EFL learners. This paper reports on an English vocabulary learning experiment by employing focus on form versus focus on forms among 60 intermediate EFL learners. Research data show that focus on forms displays better effects on the vocabulary learning than focus on form.
