摘要
肝脏再生是指因手术、创伤、中毒、感染、坏死等致部分肝细胞功能丧失后，肝细胞重新修复的过程。对于肝再生的发生及其内在机制的认识和研究，大致可分为三个阶段：（1）最初认为可能存在一种特定的激素类物质决定肝再生的过程。（2）随着研究的深入人们又猜测肝再生的过程可能是由一条包括多种因素参与的信号通路决定的。（3）近年来学术界比较一致的观点：肝再生是由多条通路、多种因素共同参与的一种复杂的生理过程。此过程涉及细胞因子、生长因子的大量分泌，细胞外基质的重建以及一些促进或抑制肝再生过程的正负反馈机制。
