摘要
通过对中国建筑传媒奖活动的评述,对当前中国建筑的各种现象进行反思与批判,探讨建筑学所涉及的社会意义问题。并针对《南方都市报》所倡导的"走向公民建筑"的主题,对"公民建筑"的概念进行了解读,结合所谓"公民社会"和"公共领域"等政治社会学理论,肃清建筑学意义上"公共建筑"与"公民建筑"的理论差异,以确立该奖项在理论上的基本立场,避免对建筑创作实践的理论误导,进而为繁荣中国建筑创作和建筑评论提供一个新的公共视野和角度。
Through a review of the China Architecture Media Awards organized by NDDaily, the author attempts to reflect on and criticize various architecture related phenomena in China, as well as probing the social significance of the profession. Also in response to the notion of toward a civic architecture initiated by NDDily, this paper tries to unfold the concept of civic architecture and shed some light on the differences between public architecture and civic arqhitecture using such sociological concepts as civil society and pubic domain, hence define a theoretical stance for the prize. It is hoped that the architectural design will not be affected by theoretical misconceptions, and that architectural practice and criticism in China will be enriched with a new public eye and perspective.
