摘要
董仲舒的人性论是孟子、荀子人性论之二化生出的新一,也是三;三不同于孟子的人性论,亦不同于荀子的人性论,三是悖立整合的新的人性论。董仲舒以阴阳之天道论人性,表现了其天人相应的哲学思想。其人性论的基本内容:人性有善有恶,善主恶从,即性未全善;性善是质,质朴而未觉醒,具有为善的可能性,而没有表现为现实性,即性未善。人性之善主恶从,故人性基本上是值得信赖的,"天地之性人为贵",仁义礼智信在人性上获得了根据。人性中有恶,且性善是质,充分肯定了后天之道德教化与礼义制约的重要作用。
The theory of human nature by Dong Zhong-shu is the new one that is brought about by that of Mencius and Xunzi, and it is different from both of them. In the theory, Dong Zhong-shu shows his philosophy of correspondence between man and universe by expounding human nature through yin and yang. The basic components are: Human nature is a combination of good and evil that is dominated by good and subordinated by evil, namely, human nature is not of being good totality. Good is the intrinsic quality of human nature, but it is of being evil, for although it has the potential goodness, the good is not presented. Human nature is basically worthy of confide for the dominant status of good in it. Thus the core factor of his theory mentioned above provides the basis for Renyilizhixin. And it gives the full affirmation to the importance of moral enlightenment and manner restriction.
