Background and Objective Lung cancer is one of the most malignant cancers threatening people's health and life and being the most rapid increasing both in morbidity and mortality.
Background and Objective Lung cancer is one of the most malignant cancers threatening people's health and life and being the most rapid increasing both in morbidity and mortality. Tumor metastasis is not only the malignant marker and characteristics of lung cancer, but also the main cause of failure to cure and lose their life of the patients with lung cancer. At present, it has been proved that the abnormality of Wnt signal pathway was closely correlated with the oncogensis and development of malignant tumor. WIF-1 and Gsk-3β are the key negative regulators of Wnt signal pathway. WIF- 1(Wnt inhibitory factor- 1) can suppress Wnt signal pathway by competitive binding of Wnt proteins. Gsk-3β(glycogen synthase kinase-3β) can promote β-catenin degradation by phosphorylating it, so the transduction of Wnt signal would be suppressed. Nm23-H1 is an important tumor metastasis suppressor gene, a lot of research results have proven that the reduced expression and deletion of nm23-H 1 gene was closely correlated with the oncogenesis and metastasis of many malignant cancers.
