An Estimation Model of End-to-end Delay of Network Congestion

摘要 端到端时延是评估计算机网络QoS的一个重要的性能指标.基于网络端到端时延的组成,通过分析传统模型对网络拥塞的局限性和研究单个节点排队时延模型,提出了网络端到端时延估算模型,并利用OPNET进行了验证.该模型可以对不同网络情况的时延进行估算,从而有效指导网络规划. End-to-end delay is a very important performance index to evaluate the QoS of computer network. Based on the composition of network end-to-end delay, an estimation model of network end to end delay was proposed by dealing with the limitation of traditional model to network congestion and studying a single node queue delay model, and then the proposed model was verified by using OPNET. This model can be also used to evaluate delay of various networks guiding the network planning effectively.
