摘要
在分析矢量栅格数据特点的基础上,提出一系列矢栅一体化查询函数,基于PostgreSQL/PostGIS数据库,实现了支持栅格数据存储与组织的扩展数据类型,并对栅格数据类型与PostGIS矢量数据一体化查询函数进行了扩展实现。最后,通过实例验证了矢栅一体化查询函数的表达能力和解决实际问题的应用前景。
Nowadays,spatial database is the most important way of storing and organizing vector data in GIS applications. While the raster data,which is also a major source of spatial information,is primarily stored as data files because of the intrinsic com- plexity and huge size. Some GIS and database software vendors began to support raster data in their database products,but only data storage and organization is concerned. Currently, there is not an accepted standard specification for the integrated operation on vector and raster data,although some pilot studies have been taken in recent years. In this paper,the characteristics of vector and raster data were analyzed,and a series of vector-raster integrated functions were given, then a prototype system was built based on Postgre SQL/PostGIS. Lastly, the problem-solving ability of such a database extension was discussed.
